Summary:
Recent years have seen significant developments in the law regarding the degree of deference to be given to the actions and decisions of administrative agencies. In light of the Federal Circuit’s unique docket, questions of agency deference have particular relevance to Federal Circuit practitioners.  A panel of experienced appellate specialists drawn from both within government and from the private bar will provide an overview of developments in this area, both at the Federal Circuit and more broadly, and will offer perspectives on the implications of increased scrutiny of agency action.
