This panel seeks to discuss SEP/FRAND issues from the perspective of different industry sectors.  How are SEPs affecting varying industries?  In the automotive industry, how have SEP issues been received and how are they affecting the automotive supply chain?  How are IOT companies adapting to the SEP environment, and what effects have been experienced in product development and sales?  Should licensing practices be different to accommodate different industry dynamics?   What can we learn from a new Chinese case involving rare earth metal processing and related industries, and FRAND for “commercially essential” patents?  And finally, how are the different international perspectives on these issues developing, and what are the differences?
